The GC-IMS-SILOX is a stand-alone device developed for user-friendly and reliable on-site siloxanes measurements in biogas, landfill, sewage gas, and digestors. The device has a straightforward single-click menu and can alternatively be run as an online monitoring system, automatically testing the gas in user-defined intervals. Results are stored on its flash memory and shown on the 6.4″ touchscreen, or the ‘Total Si’ value is transferred via 4–20mA or MODBUS (TCP). 

Besides power, the GC-IMS SILOX only needs N2 or synthetic air as drift and carrier gas for operation. Its user-friendly menu allows for a non-specialist to operate the instrument. Alternatively, it can be used as an online/continuous monitor at set intervals running 24/7.
